Vietnam - The Mighty Mekong
Deep in the high plateaus of Tibet, a small spring gives life to one of the greatest rivers in the world - the Mekong. Flowing through six countries before it reaches its Delta in Vietnam (our destination), the Mekong supports 60 million people whose everyday life is entwined with the rhythm of the river. Together, we will explore the natural and cultural riches of the Delta - its fisheries, floodplains, and fruits, as well as the ancient temples and waterways that only hint at the importance of this region for millennia. Today, nearly one-fifth of the Mekong River's fish species are endangered, and environmental changes threaten the fragile Delta ecosystem. Traveling by boat, bicycle, and bus, we will adventure and learn alongside local artisans, farmers, scientists, and residents, enjoying and participating in the efforts to protect and preserve the health of this rich and vital river.

Uganda - Green Safari
Interact with the dazzling beauty, culture and ecological treasures of Uganda on this once-in-a-lifetime green safari expedition to the heart of Africa. The value and vulnerability of African wildlife will come deeply into focus on this journey, as we travel through Uganda's teeming national parks, trek for Chimpanzee in Walujojo, and bask in the sounds of the Kazinga wilderness. While lodging at local farmstays and wilderness lodges, we will learn from local conservationists and witness traditional sustainability in practice. Visits to archaeological and cultural sites, and a stay in the capital city of Kampala, will add depth and perspective to the travelers' understanding of Uganda's natural treasures and conservation challenges.
